Description: Our Client, a leader in design and manufacturing of motion control products, is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer in Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis, conceptual design, development, and testing of complex equipment used to test military and commercial aircraft control components;
• Actively communicate with the involved Division personnel who will be manufacturing hardware, as well as with Reliability, Environmental Test, and Test Equipment Designers to keep them current on design status and ensure compatibility with their activities;
• Provide the leadership and cooperation to achieve high productivity and cost effective parts and assemblies that satisfy quality and performance goals.

Requirements:

• Experience with requirements development, design, modelling, analysis, and integration of complex electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical, or electro-pneumatic servo-mechanisms for mechanical and hydraulic test rigs (10+ years);
• Experience in the areas of requirements definition, integration, V&V, modeling & simulation with project management;
• Experience in off-the-shelf real-time systems such as dSPACE and National Instruments (preferred);
• Project Engineer experience (preferred);
• Ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance (required);
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering (required), an advanced degree.
