Description: Our Client, an acute-care, JC accredited regional hospital, is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner in Coos Bay, OR.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance;
• Post open positions, advertises, recruits and screens applicants, conducts reference checks and education / licensure / registration / certification verification on potential employees;
• Act as a liaison with employment agencies, advertising agencies, and temporary agencies and review contracts with these agencies;
• Assist and advise management in the application and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures, union contracts, transfers and terminations;
• Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement;
• Provide guidance and input on department restructures, workforce planning and succession planning;
• Serve as an HRIS resource;
• Coordinate and attend on-site / off-site job fairs or other recruiting events;
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Human Resource experience in a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner position (3-5+ years);
• Basic medical experience (preferred);
• Healthcare experience (required);
• Union experience (highly preferred);
• Human Resource related certification (preferred);
• Experience working at a hospital (preferred);
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
