Description: Our Client, a leader in design and manufacturing of motion control products, is looking to hire a Senior Test & Integration Technicianin East Aurora, NY.
Responsibilities:
• Perform hands-on systems test rig integration & test activities;
• Work alongside supporting organizations and the Systems Engineering team, driving the development and assembly / integration of our systems test rigs (both hydraulic and electrical);
• Coordinate development test programs, often technically directing supporting development / production technicians;
• Implement and operate system test procedures and scripts;
• Evaluate discrepant hardware / software and development test results. Formulate recommended courses of action;
• Communication with Systems Engineering regarding implementation aspects of the system;
• Perform root cause and corrective action; resolution of problems with test equipment and facilities;
• Inventory management, calibration, and repair of test equipment, cabling, and hydraulic assemblies;
• Ensure that complete and accurate test program data and records are generated and maintained;
• Operate as a contributing member in a team of creative, independent individuals;
• Some domestic travel (10-25%) will be required.
Requirements:
• Experience in the MATLAB, Simulink and Python software programming environments;
• Experience implementing and operating system test procedures and scripts;
• Experience in systems test rig integration & test activities;
• Experience working alongside supporting organizations and the Systems Engineering team, driving the development;
• Experience working with dSPACE products (preferred);
• EMI test experience (preferred);
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (preferred), or an ability to obtain one (required);
• Associate’s in an Engineering discipline with 10+ years’ experience in Systems and/or Component Integration and Test (required);
• Bachelor’s in an Engineering discipline with 4+ years as technical experience in Systems and/or Component Integration and Test (preferred). As an alternative to a degree, 12+ years of technical experience in Systems and or Component Integration and Test.
