Description: Our Client, a wholesale electricity supplier, and the world leader in generating renewable energy, is hiring a Contract Coordinator in Vero Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee performance of all field activities placing safety as the number one goal;
• Ensure contractor suppliers field activities are performed in accordance with the applicable contract terms and conditions and purchase order;
• Manage contractor suppliers while performing as a liaison between contractor suppliers and FPL site management;
• Write daily reports of field activities and records project details and events;
• Resolve technical and commercial issues;
• Monitor progress and ensure project execution meets schedule.

Requirements:

• Experience in safety engineering (LOTO, clearances, reporting, hot work);
• Experience with electrical concepts (transformers, transmission, Volt / Amp readings, grounding, etc);
• Experience with job safety analysis (risk assessment, etc);
• Experience with rigging and lifting plan (cranes, load charts);
• Experience with mechanical concepts (bolts, torque, pressure, welding);
• Experience in civil engineering (concrete, epoxy, forming, tests);
• Experience in communications engineering (fiber optic cables, splices, etc).
