Description: Our Client, a technology company is looking to hire a Director, Product Management (Clinical Operations Center Informatics) in Cambridge, MA.
Responsibilities:
• Shape strategic direction and develop product strategy to build informatics to optimize hospital operations;
• Understand, document, and champion the needs - clinical, technical, and financial – and own the product roadmap to build a cloud enabled software platform to optimize hospital operations. This includes organic and inorganic considerations;
• Define the necessary capabilities, algorithm and decision support requirements to underpin your product roadmap and work with research team to implement algorithm and AI research strategy;
• Create customer requirements specifications for new products and solutions based upon customer research, market analysis, and clinical drivers. Work within scope, schedule, and resource constraints;
• Develop and own the overall business case and business model; define and develop pricing strategies to maximize adoption and profit. Ensure that product structure and pricing are up-to-date with market conditions;
• Work with customers and healthcare economics specialists to develop customer ROI models and business cases;
• Maintain analysis of the market with a focus on market trends, size, competitive solutions and positioning, market shares, and customer needs;
• Develop marketing plans to support new product / solution launch and adoption. Ensure that new products are introduced professionally with appropriate positioning, pricing, sales collateral, digital marketing, promotions, and accompanying services. Coordinate training and market communications;
• Assess product performance against plan. Implement programs, tools, and initiatives as required to exceed business goals;
• Provide proactive support for the markets with timely communications, product and competitive information, product training, etc. As the product expert, actively support the market teams with current strategic opportunities as needed;
• Develop and maintain contacts with market management and opinion leaders. Cultivate relationships with leading customers and influencers;
• Pursue, develop and support internal and external business partnerships and marketing agreements. Work with sales management to develop and enhance distribution channels;
• Continually strive to improve quality and customer satisfaction against published metrics;
• Travel requirements, including international travel, can reach 30% of time.
Requirements:
• Experience in a hospital operations environment specifically around patient flow / progression (5+ years);
• Experience in healthcare informatics product marketing with demonstrated product definition, business case, business model, product development and release success (5+ years);
• Experience preparing and executing plans;
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must;
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related clinical, technical, and business areas;
• MBA or equivalent experience.
