Description: Our Client, a provider of engineering, programmatic, and technical support services to the customers focused on national security, is hiring an Electrical Power Systems Engineer in Beavercreek, OH.
Responsibilities:
• Provide applied electrical engineering expertise to assist in the development of Sensor Open System. Architecture (SOSA) technology that will provide the warfighter and Intelligence Community with an effective means of developing common set of Open Architecture Standards;
• Analog and digital power system development, design and evaluation;
• Advise government officials on best practices, industry standards and technology trends;
• Assist in the review of existing electrical and electronic systems, to included design architectures, system models and interface control documents (ICDs);
• Review and advise on System Requirement Documents (SRDs) for DoD programs;
• Interface with industry and standards developers to ensure compatibility and harmonization of existing standards and regulations / policy.
Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering experience (5+ years);
• Experience with analog power system development, design and evaluation;
• Experience with digital power system development, design and evaluation;
• Experience with aircraft electronics and avionics data systems (2-5+ years, preferred);
• Experience working with in the DoD acquisition and life cycle management environment (preferred);
• Experience with multiple intelligence disciplines to include, but not limited to: Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Hyperspectral Imaging, and Sense and Avoid (SAA) Systems (preferred);
• Experience with US Air Force airborne platforms (preferred);
• U.S. Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;
• Active DoD SECRET security clearance is required on the first day of employment;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Engineering Physics from an ABET accredited university, with 5 years of relevant applied experience.
