Description: Our Client, a diversified financial services company operating in eight states, is hiring an Insurance Account Executive (Employee Benefits) in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and carriers;
• Maintain detailed knowledge of new and existing products by collaborating with colleagues;
• Increase profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible;
• Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors’ products.
Requirements:
• Experience working on Broker side (3+ years);
• Experience in health care insurance (3+ years);
• Experience in Maryland small market (1+ year);
• Experience with claims reporting, making changes in their existing plans and renewal process;
• Project management experience;
• Group Employee Benefits experience;
• Inside Sales experience;
• Health & Life license (required);
• BA or BS.
