Description: Our Client, a leader in healthcare and community health programs, is hiring a Major Surgery Manager in South Bend, IN.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Director, Executive Director of Patient Care Services or Vice President of Nursing;
• Manage staff providing patient care services and the daily operations of the department;
• Contribute to the development / revision of policies, procedures, protocols and standards of care;
• Serve as the nursing leader for designated shift of the department and acts as a liaison with other departments.

Requirements:

• Major Surgery experience (3+ years);
• Leadership experience (1+ year);
• Experience in nursing care practices, equipment, procedures and techniques utilized within the department;
• Experience in department policies, procedures and practices;
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Indiana, CNOR;
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (required).
