Description: Our Client, a pre-eminent healthcare investment bank, is looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer in Willoughby, Wickliffe, Painesville or Madison, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Originate and process family residential real estate mortgage loans in accordance with process and product guidelines;
• Gather documents at the time of registering a loan and is expected to remain, along with the loan processor, the point of contact with the customer during the duration of the loan;
• Manage client referrals and the cross sell process ensuring all new customers are introduced to local branch personnel, as applicable;
• Help with joint calls with potential clients to develop new business both in person and over the phone;
• Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services as well as knowledge of competitors and competitive products;
• Meet with clients for mortgage opportunities as scheduled. Interact with all branch personnel;
• Meet with mortgage Branch and Sales Manager to review production results to goal, branch activities and Sales LO Action Plan;
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production within the past 2 years (2+ years);
• Experience producing consistently at a level of 10 million / year or more;
• Experience with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, local and state real estate and finance laws;
• Customer service experience;
• Experience in sales and service skills; including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking and COI relationship management;
• Experience working in a bank structure (preferred);
• Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience.
