Description: Our Client, the world’s largest and most efficient mortgage securitization service, is looking for a Network Cloud Engineer in Bethesda, MD and Pasadena, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrable automation/orchestration using any of the following: Chef, Ansible, Python, YAML;
• Support Linux and Microsoft Windows Server based operating systems in a physical, virtual, and cloud based environment;
• Interface and coordinate with ISP’s for break / fix, installation, and moves / adds / changes of Internet connectivity;
• Build executive business cases for opportunities for larger scale, long term improvements;
• Mentor less experienced network engineers to maintain consistency and uniformity.

Requirements:

• IT networking experience (8-10 years);
• Network Automation experience (2-3 years);
• Automation / orchestration experience using any of the following: Chef, Ansible, Python, YAML;
• Experience in cloud services, specifically Amazon Web Services and exposure to products like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, and Cloud Watch;
• Experience with networking systems and TCP/IP;
• Experience in IP Addressing and Subnetting; Network Address Translations; MTU; QoS;
• Experience in Routing and Switching systems (Fortinet);
• Experience with Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) and Gateway Redundancy Protocols;
• Automation scripting experience in one or more of the following: PHP, Perl, PowerShell, C++;
• Experience with designing, managing and operating networking environments for mission critical business functions in a mid to large scale enterprises;
• Fortinet experience with FortiOS based products building and maintaining connectivity between sites, partners, and SaaS/IaaS/PaaS providers (mostly Amazon Web Services);
• Cisco experience with modern Cisco equipment and design patterns (preferred);
• CISSP, CISSA certifications (preferred);
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (required).
