Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Description: Our Client, a wholesale electricity supplier and a provider of clean energy, is looking for a Project Estimator in Juno Beach, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and provide a complete capital expenditure (CapEx) model for evaluating projects;
• Provide technical guidance, estimating knowledge, market pricing, and staffing considerations during the estimating process;
• Prepare capital cost estimates;
• Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives, when appropriate;
• Coordinate with other departments, ensuring understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources;
• Reviews layouts, designs, and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives, when appropriate;
• Remain current with technology and industry evolution, assuring that capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions;
• Establish, build and implement metrics for sot and construction estimate checks;
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience working as an Estimator (0+ years for level II; 3+ years for level I);
• Solar or energy (wind, oil, natural gas) or construction experience;
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience (required);
• High School Grad / GED (required).
