Description: Our Client, a medical technology company, is looking for a Service Marketing Director in Hunt Valley, MD. Full-time benefits and relocation assistance are available.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of annual marketing plans for North America Service business to ensure the achievement of financial and budget expectations, including market sensing, segmentation, competitive assessment, pricing, market development and marketing mix;
• Build and own a programmatic regional approach to strategic pricing from the ground up to establish value-based pricing strategies and guidance based on the collection and interpretation of market positioning, differentiated value proposition aligned to product and business strategy;
• Utilize financial and marketing knowledge to identify customer needs and develop new service offerings to improve services revenue. Perform financial evaluation of services support offerings to ensure profitability. Develop differentiated economic value adds in the form of services, and workflow efficiency solutions and monetize;
• Apply advanced analytics to support price optimization, price discrimination, integrated/bundle pricing, outcome based pricing, and other emerging pricing strategies in our industry;
• Develop financial models to quantify revenue and margin impact of pricing strategies and engage with appropriate parties for execution. Manage execution of marketing projects, to ensure product positioning and messaging are communicated effectively;
• Gather and develop customer and field feedback, analyze the competitive environment/ pricing approaches to optimize our services offering;
• Seek out and leverage best in class marketing and pricing tools, methodologies and partners; engage 3rd parties to partner in strategic studies to inform differential value propositions;
• Develop and monitor leading key performance indicators to forecast expansion and/or retractions within the service business environment. Analyze price, volume and mix and develop strategies to optimize the revenue stream, develops plans to mitigate changes in the business and the impact on future service contract and T&M revenue;
• Coordinate, influence and negotiate prioritization of responsibilities with Field Service teams to ensure process and strategy alignment, effective communication and leverage best practices. Communicate progress and issues to Service leadership through the design of escalation procedures or prompt communication tools to react promptly and provide customer communications;
• Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements:
• Experience managing service contracts sales within a services organization, or customer service-related (5-7 years or equivalent combination of related education and experience);
• Marketing, sales, after sales, business development, or field service experience in healthcare / high tech industry;
• Experience directing, planning, communicating and coordinating marketing plan / campaign;
• Experience developing marketing campaigns from start to finish and made an impact to P&L;
• Experience in online marketing, including social media, and content marketing;
• Master’s degree in marketing, business administration.
